Yin Ke graduated from the Sichuan Conservatory of Music , China in year 1992. After graduation, he has quickly established himself as an outstanding performer and had been invited to perform as a soloist with orchestra as well as in chamber music. While living in Sichuan, Mr Yin has also found his passion in violin teaching. After migrated to Singapore, he was invited to teach in the NAFA School of Young Talents (SYT). Mr Yin is currently the String Programme Leader in SYT.
During his twenty years of teaching experience, Mr Yin has crystallised a unique customization teaching methodology to harness the strength and character of each of his students. Through his teaching methods, he has developed many of his students into outstanding young violinists. They have won top prizes in local and overseas competitions. These competitions include the Singapore Biennial National Piano & Violin Competition, Radio Station Symphony 92.4 Young Talents Project, Thailand International String Competition, Animato International Violin Competition in Australia, Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competition in Italy, Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Musician in China, and the Menuhin Violin Competition. Besides busy teaching in Singapore, Mr Yin is frequently invited to conduct masterclasses overseas in countries such as Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia and China. He has also been invited to be a teaching faculty in the Singapore Violin Festivals and the New Virtuosi Queenswood Mastercourse in U.K.
