The festival competition was incepted as an opportunity for violinists of all age groups to showcase their abilities and talents. Selected finalists will be featured in the Gala Concert, and receive attractive cash incentives.
Beyond the cash prizes, the prize winners will also receive opportunities to further their careers through the Career Development Prize Scheme, such as a professional CD recording and solo concerts organised by seasoned artist managers.
The SVF festival competition aims to nurture these deserving prize winners into fully fledged professional musicians. Many of our past festival competition winners have moved on to become major international competition prize winners, and we strive to carry on that legacy.
